Rutini Dominio Malbec – La Consulta, Mendoza

Rutini Dominio Malbec is made from 100% Malbec grown in La Consulta, Mendoza, at approximately 950 metres. Plum, violet and liquorice aromas lead into fresh red- and black-fruit flavours on a balanced, juicy palate.

The wine matures for 12 months in French oak, using 20% new barrels and 80% second-use barrels. That measured oak regime provides useful production context without overstating the wine’s status, while the fruit, freshness and structure suit grilled beef, roast lamb, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses.
